What is Ilizarov Surgery?
It is named after Proff Gavrill Abramovich Ilizarov , a soviet surgeon who pioneered the technique during world war 2.In the 1980 through the hands of Mr.Carlo Mauri an Italian explorer who was operated by proff Ilizarov the technique reached Lecco,Italy.Proff Maurizio catagni was one of the first surgeons to learn the technique ,did necessary developments and spread the method across the world.
